Hace una semana que estoy en Buenos Aires, en un hotel, sobre Avenida de Mayo. Hace una semana que veo carteles que anuncian el acto de lanzamiento de campaña de Ricardo Alfonsín. Nunca imaginé que me iba a encontrar con un espectáculo tan raquítico.
El escenario está emplazado en Avenida de Mayo, cincuenta metros antes de llegar a Plaza Congreso. Desde ahí, la gente llega, a durísimas penas, a la calle Salta. Estoy siendo generoso. En total, son dos cuadras y media, tres, con toda la buena leche. Un acto mísero: el PO puede lograr una convocatoria más amplia. Tres cuadras. Una pantalla gigante (la última) con parlantes está ubicada casi sobre Salta, y ahí apenas hay 200 personas, laxamente dispuestas, mirando comodamente el discurso. Está claro que los organizadores esperaban más gente, si no no se explica la ubicación de esa pantalla, que está por fuera de la masa principal del acto. Logicamente, los radicales tienen motivos para estar preocupados: si esta es su capacidad de convocatoria en la Capital Federal, los pronósticos son más que sombríos.
Otro dato increíble es el discurso de Morales: una sucesión de reconocimientos a la gestión gubernamental. Curioso en alguien que ha sido un opositor cerril a ultranza. Dijo, textualmente: “Es cierto que el gobierno invierte el 6% del PBI en educación, es cierto que han construido más de mil escuelas, es cierto que han entregado miles de netbooks, pero con eso no alcanza, porque la educación ha caído en su nivel y sigue habiendo una brecha enorme entre la escuela privada y la pública. Nosotros tenemos que deshacer esa brecha y bla bla bla”. Lo mismo para referirse a la Asignación Universal por Hijo. Hasta cometió la bobera de referirse a “la asignación a los trabajadores temporarios, que recién han efectivizado esta semana”. El discurso de Morales muestra claramente que el jujeño es un hombre realista y que algo está entendiendo: un discurso crispado no redundaría ya en ningún beneficio. Más vale pensar en 2015 y empezar a construir la “oposición responsable”.

1) Usé la palabra "raquítico" y está bien que a vos como Radical eso te moleste. Quise decir que fue un acto que estuvo muy por debajo de lo que yo esperaba - y los organizadores también, ya que una de las pantallas y parlantes estaba ubicado más allá del lugar donde estaba el público- para un lanzamiento de candidatura del principal candidato opositor.
2) En el acto había todo lo que tantas veces se le critica al peronismo: pibes en pedo, con cajas de vino y botellas de cerveza, micros, y un montón de pibes que estaban bastante ajenos a los discursos y a la cuestión política. Es normal que eso ocurra, no se si está bien o está mal, pero fue así, no es patrimonio del peronismo, lamento decepcionarte.
